Chadwick Dean Thompson, a beloved husband, father, and community member from Miami, Oklahoma, passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 52. His passing has left family, friends, and loved ones mourning the loss of a man remembered for his deep faith, generosity, and unwavering dedication to serving others.

Born on November 24, 1973, in Baxter Springs, Kansas, Chad grew up in Miami, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Miami High School in 1992. He later attended Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, an experience that reflected the importance of faith in his life and the values that guided him throughout his years.

Chad was known by many for his servant’s heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. He had a special passion for supporting individuals with special needs and found great joy in caring for others. His kindness, compassion, and generosity became a defining part of his legacy, leaving a lasting impact on countless people.

In 2006, Chad married Sarah, the love of his life. Together, they shared nearly two decades of marriage and built a family centered around love, faith, and devotion. Chad’s greatest joy came from being a father to his two children, Eli and Hannah. He often spoke proudly of their accomplishments, their lives, and the people they were becoming.

Outside of his family and service to others, Chad enjoyed sports and was a passionate supporter of OU football, women’s basketball, and Bundesliga soccer. These interests were another reflection of his enthusiasm and connection with those around him.

Chadwick Dean Thompson’s cause of death was not publicly disclosed by his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Thompson of Miami.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; his children, Eli and Hannah; his mother, Marilyn Thompson of Joplin, Missouri; his sister, DaAnn Morris of Carl Junction, Missouri; along with extended family members, friends, and many others whose lives were touched by his kindness.

Chad will be remembered for his love for God, his generous spirit, his dedication to helping others, and the immense love he showed his family. His legacy of faith and service will continue through the many lives he influenced.
